Tag and microchip: two routes home for your dog
Before travel or boarding, call the number on the tag, check the chip registry, and designate someone who can respond.
A visible tag lets the person who finds a dog call immediately. Check that the letters remain readable, the ring closes securely, and the number receives calls. Test it before every trip or boarding stay.
